THE VILLAGER'S PHOTO REMARKS

PHOTO ARTISTIC PROJECT

A heart that loves is always young. - Greek proverb.

How do you feel a heartbeat of Hellas? You must go beyond BLUE to feel infinity of Blue....

In this photo artistic project the author wants to outline a Hellenic periphery profile, a periphery far from the sea. The photo sessions were undertaken in Serres, Central Macedonia. Buezzz is an artistic approach.

Every morning the author walks 7 km. 7 km of INFINITY. This distance has a philosophical implication as well. Through the finite distance we discover and feel infinity of Hellas, through personal we deepen into global, through global we reveal Divine.

Have you walked 7 km in Hellas enjoying the vocal art of Maria Callas or Nana Mouskouri? Have you walked 7 km in Hellas listening to the poetic pearls of Nikos Kazantzakis or Konstantinos Kavafis? Join the author in this Journey of Infinity.

Music in the video by Giannis Markopoulos.

In every photograph taken in Hellas there is infinity of love. I could not say the final goodbye to my lovely Greek Mother. I was far away physically. Now in every step, in every breath, in every photograph, in every thought there is infinite gratitude to the lovely Lady. - Dr. Marina Mchitarian-Lazaridou

Why the photo artistic project is dedicated to the prominent Hellenes Maria Callas, Nana Mouskouri, Nikos Kazatzakis, Konstantinos Kavafis?  They loved Hellas in their unique way, they expressed their love and admiration through their creative way. However in every cell of a reflected love there is a heartbeat of Greece, a pulse of the historical homeland. In the mentioned context the photo artistic project dedicated to a Hellenic periphery reveals the cardiogramma of the beautiful country created by God.

The above described is the 1st part of the project. The 2nd part will be capturing the sea in Kavala. The 3rd part - the essay ''7 km of INFINITY'' (philosophical conversations with Nature and in Nature).

DIVINITY OF LIGHT
Yesterday I went to shoot with my photo camera. The day before I was mesmerized by the Divinity of the sunset light. The Byzantine building embraced by the sunset light shook a turbulency of my creative soul. In combination of light and shadow I saw or feel the Fall of the Byzantium. However yesterday I went there ten minutes early. TEN MINUTES ....ruined my perception of eternity. I could not revive the creative reconstruction. I will go today as well but on time. TEN MINUTES ....can revive or destroy eternity. Really one can't predict what is more vital - one moment of Love or one century of a standard life...I prefer one moment of Love. -Dr. Marina Mchitarian-Lazaridou
